‘Raining Men’ Disco Queen Will Entertain LGBT Houston For Super Bowl

The Biggest Disco Queen Set To Perform Live In Montrose Over Super Bowl Weekend.

HOUSTON — JAN 28 — It’s definitely ‘Raining Men’ this Super Bowl Sunday at the popular Montrose LGBT nightclub F Bar Houston. The nightclub has just confirmed with About Magazine that Disco Queen Martha Wash will be performing live on Sunday February 5.

Martha’s voice has dominated the airwaves and embraced millions of people around the world. She is responsible for some of the top-selling, most recognizable pop hits of the 80s and 90s. “It’s Raining Men”, the cult pop classic, is still heard everywhere… the radio, movies, commercials, TV. “Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)” was the highlight of C&C Music Factory’s career, and sold 5 1/2 million copies worldwide.

MARTHA WASH ‘MERGED A GOSPEL VOICE INTO POP AND DANCE MUSIC SEAMLESSLY,’ SAYS RUPAUL

Her musical career begin at the age of two in her parents’ church in her native San Francisco. She went on to study opera and tour Europe while only in high school. Martha became part of a contemporary gospel group called N.O.W. (News of The World) and the mix of classical and gospel training accounts for her seemingly effortless transition, from ballads to dance music to pop.

In addition to her vast career in pop music, Martha has also starred in major theater productions, and has recorded numerous jingles and movie soundtracks (Kiss Me Guide, First Wives Club, Mighty Ducks, Gun Ho).

Shawn Mendes Gives Rodeo Houston ‘Performance Of A Lifetime’

(Houston, Texas) Walking on the worlds most famous rotating stage is enough to make any veteran entertainer nervous. But on Sunday night, a brave 17-year old named Shawn Mendes delivered the performance of his life among 71,976 screaming teenagers.

Changing the ‘normal’ on the famous stage, Mendes didn’t play by the past rules. He charted his own.

In a courageous surprise, Mendes arrived alone to the Rodeo Houston stage. No band, back up singers, or dancers. The stage was empty! Armed with nothing but an acoustic guitar, the singer did what few entertainers dare to do, and what Rodeo Houston hasn’t experienced in years. Mendes provided pure and solid acoustic vocals with no distractions, no auto-tune, and no band in sight. It was raw and beautifully acoustic.

“I’ve never played to a crowd this large before.” Mendes said in between songs. “This happens to be one of the most incredible things I’ve seen in my entire life.” Mendes who recently toured as Taylor Swifts opening act admitted to ‘loving the crowds scream.’

One of the most heart touching moments from Sunday’s performance came when Mendes spoke to the crowd, relating to ‘tough times’ as a teenager. He explained to the crowd consisting mostly of teens; that times do get hard, but things ‘always get better.’

“Sometimes I feel like the world is on my shoulders.” He said, “But it will truly get better. It does.”

15-short hours before touching down in the Lone Star State, Mendes was standing center stage at New York’s Radio City Music Hall. The official kick off to his sold-out world tour.

Before leaving the rodeo stage Mendes made sure each fan heard his love. “I love it here. I love Texas. This is amazing.”

Country Star Chris Young Performs At Rodeo Houston Wednesday Night!

The 2006 winner of “Nashville Star” took the Rodeo Houston stage Wednesday night for an estimated crowd of 64,901 for Armed Forces Appreciation Day presented by BHP Billiton.

(Houston, Texas) Country music star Chris Young entertained the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo last night to the grand sum of 64,901 in official attendance. Arriving on stage following a symbolic flag presentation by the United States Air Force.

Young breezed onto the round revolving stage in an attempt to dominant. Dressed in all black, as if paying tribute to Johnny Cash, a black steal guitar in one hand a red solo cup in the other.

Joining Young on stage was his ‘Mile High Club’ co-star Cassadee Pope for a surprise performance of “Think of Me.” Dressed in a gold sequin top, black leather mini skirt, and black leather knee boots, that would make any ‘southern girl proud,’ Pope was a welcomed addition.

“Y’all are ridiculous, man,” he said to the crowd. “Thank you so much for my career.”

Rodeo Houston continues nightly with rodeo and concerts now till March 20 2016.
