3:30 am on a Friday morning and Chloe and I are standing on the corner of Montrose and Westheimer. It’s cold, windy and the smell of the new Burger Joint is making my stomach growl.cover020516-copy-669x1024 Feature: Chloe Knox Has Her Eye On The Big Stage!

Between car horns blaring and people walking up to get a photo of Chloe, About Magazine’s photoshoot could have been confused as a game of hop scotch with drivers leaving the clubs.

Chloe is 6’5”  and his presence demands your attention. At only 21 years old, the conversation is more like a seasoned performer, with insight, and knowledge of his craft. Not only is he a master of his talent but he loves what he does, and his generation of followers cannot get enough of him.

Chloe’s first drag show was three years ago at Meteor nightclub for their weekly “So You Think You Can Drag” contest. He was instantly in love. Since that first drag show a lot has happened for Chloe. “Now I’m Miss Meteor” he said with a smile, as our photographer directed him to a Metro bus stop for a better pose.

“In my spare time, I’m a freelance sketch & makeup artist.” The Houston community voted him the 2015 FACE Awards Break Out Drag Performer of the Year.

“My parents are so supporting”

“My parents are so supporting” Chloe says. Originally from Toronto, Canada and now in Houston, Chloe graduated from James E. Taylor High School in Katy, Texas but if his ambitions come true, Chloe has no plans of staying there.

This big talent has eyes on the big stage. The stage of Drag Race. “Or pursue an acting career or both, I want it all.” Chloe says.
