Investigation Yields No Progress In Tranwomans Murder

(Dallas, Texas) Dallas Police stated this week ‘they have  no new developments to report in their ongoing investigation’ into the murder of 22-year-old Shade Schuler, a black transwoman. Her body was discovered off Riverside Dr, in a vacant field on July 29.

18 transgender women known to have been murdered so far this year, and the second one in Texas. Ty Underwood, 24, was murdered Jan. 26 in Tyler allegedly by a man with whom she had had a brief relationship. Carlton Ray Champion Jr. has been arrested and charged with Underwood’s murder.
