HOUSTON — DEC 21 — Appearing in a video, a New Caney, Texas man has been officially charged with felony ‘Failure to Stop and Render Aid’ in a Harris County court room today relating to the January 8, 2016 death of Michael Alexander Hill in Montrose.

Emmanuel Salgado, 25, has been employed by local Montrose bar Boheme. Just 4 small blocks from where Hill was killed.

“Yes, an arrest has been made,” Michael Hill Sr, the father of Hill confirmed exclusively to About News via text message this morning. “There is irrefutable proof in the case via blood evidence found on [Salgado] the vehicle from my son.”

“He touched the life of every person he met,” said one of Hill’s close friends Casey Ray. “I was shocked when the suspect was identified,” Ray says of Salgado as the individual responsible for his friend’s death. “I have actually bought drinks from him before, it’s hard to process.”

The death of Hill left a void in many of the LGBTQ+ community. “Alex was a good man and so sweet.” Hill’s father said. “Nobody ever had anything bad to say.”

Salgado is currently in the Harris County Jail with a bond of $30,000.
