HOUSTON – (MAY 14,2014) Pride Houston, Inc. announced today that the Houston Pride Parade, the fourth largest pride parade in the U.S., will be available for viewing on live television for the first time ever in its 36-year history. The live broadcast will be produced in partnership with AbOUT Magazine and Houston MediaSource, and will air on HMS-TV channels Comcast 17, AT&T U-Verse 99, Phonoscope 75, TV Max 95, Sudden Link 99 and will stream live on www.about-online.com. Hosting the live broadcast is Sarah Pepper of Houston’s New Hot 95.7 FM, Chad Pitt of Houston’s Mix 96.5 FM and the talented Nina Lambardo.
“Though thousands flock to the annual parade, we know that there are still many more who would love to be a part of the parade but aren’t able to,” says Cade Michals, Publisher of AbOUT Magazine. “With this being one of the largest pride parades in the world, we know that lots of eyes will be glued to their screens to see how Houston celebrates its pride.”
